ABOUT US
St. Paul´s has been a pillar of the German community in New York since its founding in 1841.
Many of our church members come from Germany, but people from other backgrounds also feel at home with us.
Our community life and our services are mainly held in German.
This sets us apart from many other communities in New York.

Hospitality

When we meet as a community, we like to eat and drink. People with the gift of hospitality like to make sure everyone is happy.

Special Celebrations

Our congregation is a young community that is reinventing itself. We celebrate together a few times a year - in the church or in White Plains at the rectory. There is a garden there!

Discussion Groups

We like to talk about God and the world. In the process, communities form and we grow together as a community. The discussion groups are open events and meet irregularly a few times a year. You can find the latest dates under EVENTS

Camp Thiemer

We inherited a farm with forest on the edge of the Catskills. We are currently thinking about how we can make this gift useful for the community.
